Chamomile tea taste very mild and light, with a light scented and flowery, apple like taste to it.
Chamomile is sweet and calming and is made from the dried whole flowers of the plant, but can also be made from fresh flowers. Flowers bloom from early summer to the first frost of fall. Chamomile seeds will drop in the fall and new plants will grow. grow in containers to keep this plant contained.
Chamomile should be planted in a sunny location with at least eight hours per day of direct sun for the most flowers, but can also tolerate some shade. Chamomile will thrive in average soil and can be grown directly in the ground or in containers. It is draught tolerant once established so plants should be allowed to dry between watering.
